Texas is a constituent of the United States of America with the historical approach to combat to liters. It was declared as the 28th state of the union in 1845. It is located at the south-central segment of the country and is the second largest state of the nation after Alaska. The coverage of the state is nearly 1000 miles from south to north as well as east to west.
Texas was declared independent from Mexico in 1836. Even before independence, the state had many flags. The state was declared “”republics” by many English settlers along with several banners hoisted as symbols. James Long hoisted the Texan Republic flag in approximately 1819-1820 which had 13 red and white horizontal stripes as well as a wite star within a red canton. The 1826 “Republic of Fredonia” was represented by two stripes placed white over red. Many other striped flags were brought to practice Sarah Dodson had created one with vertical stripes of blue-white-red along with a star on the hoist stripe. On the day of Texas independence on March 2, 1836, the same flag was flown over Washington-on-the-Brazos.
The first official yet nonnational flag of Texas was vested on the green-white-red vertical tricolor of Mexico. The flag was established for local ship exposure on November 3, 1835. The central stripe implication of 1824 symbolizes the adherence to federalist policies of the 1824 Mexican constitution. That flag was flown when Mexican forces besieged Alamo in 1836.
On December 10, 1836, the first official national flag of Texas was adopted which was blue with a central yellow star. The republic’s navy showed similarity with the banner displayed by James Long in 1819, except that the canton was blue rather than red. The Texas flag derived The colours and the stripes and star symbols from those of the U.S. flag. The present state flag was originally put on legal practice on January 25, 1839, as the second national flag of the Republic of Texas. No changes were made in the design when Texas became a state of the United States in 1845 and even in 1861 when it became part of the Confederacy.
